Tasting Notes for Clément Rhum Blanc
Clement Blanc starts with a sweet and vegetal nose with hints of black tea. A crisp mouthfeel leads to plenty of fresh cut grass and green bananas on the palate. Classic Ti Punch
- 1.5 – 2 oz Clement Blanc
- 1 lime coin, squeezed into glass
- A spoonful of sugar in the raw or sirop de canne
- Method: Add ingredients to the glass and aerate with a swizzle stick or spoon to release lime oils and bring flavors together. Traditionally sipped without ice, but as the saying goes in Martinique, chacun prepare sa propre morte! (Everyone prepares their own death.) This cocktail is endlessly adaptable and meets the moment perfectly every time.
Production Notes
Clement Blanc is made from fresh-pressed sugar cane juice using three varietals of cane. It is distilled once in a creole column still, rested for 6 months and proofed down slowly before bottling.
